Winter Wonderland

Gerson and I are enjoying the beautiful scenery right outside our door. Although the snow and ice have made our travels to Indy to see Jayden more adventurous, we love the beauty of it.
Gerson is having a good time with winter in the States. Today he was given this Bolivian-colored hat. Daudi Strong brought it to him from Peru. Gerson tried it on and found it to be quite warm! He hasn't worn it in public yet, but we're looking forward to seeing the looks he receives when he does!
The pond outside our house was frozen over on Christmas day. Gerson and I took a walk and he decided to follow in Christ's footsteps and "walk" on "water!"
However, after he put his weight on the ice, we heard a loud noise and he quickly put one foot back on solid ground!
I guess walking on water isn't as easy as we thought it was! :)
Brrrrrr. Although the snow is beautiful, we are having to bundle up these days. It's tough coming to wintery Indiana after leaving a Bolivian summer.

Now that you are back over here in Grant County, we need to figure out a time to get together, maybe supper at La Charreada some evening when you are here and not in Indy.

SOUNDS GREAT!! You come up often in our conversation. It usually goes something like this, Gerson says, "Keetha, pequita" --- which really doesn't mean anything but it rhymes! LOTS of things remind of us you --- our Colts (boo hoo that their season is over), Mexican food, etc.! So you are thought of OFTEN, even though we haven't seen you yet. I'll give you a call soon, okay?

That will be GREAT. (The call I mean.) I like Keetha Pequita. They call me Ponchita at La Charreada.

Tonight is a BIG football game - - - it is the college national title game between the FL Gators (Greg's team) and the Oklahoma Sooners. It's at 8:15 on FOX (That's channel 59) It should be a good game. Greg will be doing his Gator chomp all over the living room.
