My two men decided to model their Peruvian hats. Aren't they handsome?
Jayden was not scared by the Peruvian hat. I think he wanted to be like his daddy! 
Daddy and Jayden had some precious moments together. Jayden was very comfortable in Daddy's arms and slept for quite a bit. It's amazing how modeling wears one out!
Jayden has grown so much. His head now fits nicely in Daddy's hands. His whole body almost felt in Daddy's hand when he was first born. We call that good growth!
Jayden continues to improve. Thanks for continuing to pray for him. He is doing well with his feedings and is currently up to 16 ml/hour. They are adding one ml/day with the goal of getting him to about 25 ml/hour. We were told today that in the next couple of weeks the doctors will need to make a decision about whether or not he will get a G-Tube before he goes home. This would mean that he would be fed through a tube placed into his stomach for awhile yet.Although he is tolerating his feeds well, he is still having breathing problems with his weak trachea. They don't want him to eat until they are sure he is able to swallow the milk without aspirating it or having a breathing episode.
Jayden's primary nurses decided to help the nurses who have never had him before by making a poster and putting it on his door. The poster is all about Jayden and what he likes and doesn't like. We are all hoping this will help Jayden not have any more of his episodes.
PLEASE continue to pray for Jayden. He still has a ways to go before he can come home. The doctors need wisdom. We are spending a lot of time with Jayden at the hospital these days. The doctors say he is now at an age where it's very important we interact with him and bond with him. As you can see from the pictures, he's awake a lot more and wants people to hold him and be with him.
Gerson and I are doing well overall. Continue to pray for strength for us. We continue to be weary.
We appreciate all of you and your prayers. Jayden's story is well known in the hospital and we are having many opportunities to speak of God's faithfulness. Our baby is a miracle and we keep proclaiming it. We are truly blessed.
