Betsy's blood pressure continues to be higher than normal so she's on medication for that. Her Dr. said it will probably be 6 weeks before we see it lower. She's very tired and experiencing some pain (who wouldn't?) but is glad to be home.
Jayden is doing well. He got one of his billiruben lights off today. He's been on IV fluids thus far and they hope to start feeding him something of more substance tomorrow through a feeding tube. He's simply precious!
There's been a change in plans for Gerson. He was notified that they changed the date for him to defend his thesis from November 25 to December 8. So, he'll be sticking around a little longer before heading to Bolivia. Aunt Hazel and Aunt Betsy still plan to come and help Betsy over the next couple of weeks....for which we are all thankful. Betsy is still in need of some tender loving care.
Looks like it's time to get back to the game. Stayed tuned...I'm sure there will be more news (and pictures) soon.
