What I'm Learning From Daddy

I am having a wonderful time at home! It's fun to wake up in the morning and have Mommy and Daddy get me out of bed. They are both spending lots of time with me, but in this post I want to focus on what my Daddy is teaching me.
When I wake up EARLY in the morning and Daddy isn't quite ready to get up, he oftentimes will let me snuggle with him for a little bit. I've learned that it's very important to STRETCH my muscles when waking up. I'm getting good at getting my arms over my head, just like my daddy.
After Mommy feeds me breakfast, I get to spend more time with Daddy. He does my therapy with me. He helps me do stretches and plays with me with my rattles. Once he even gave me a puppet show! I really liked watching the soccer rattle and the duck rattle peer out from the other side of the blanket! Daddy is teaching me that I need to keep working my muscles so I can develop my fine motor skills.Daddy also helps Mommy give me a bath. I get really dirt between spitting up my milk and my diaper explosions. I get LOTS of baths. Daddy says it's important for me to be clean. I LOVE bath time!
Daddy found a little piano at a garage sale. It was only $3, so it was a FIND! He bought it and brought it home to me to encourage me in my love for music. I listen to Daddy plunk away at the keys, and then I try to follow his example! It's a lot of fun!
And, lastly, Daddy is teaching me that it's important that the MEN of the house have the TV POWER!!! Yup, he's introduced me to the remote control! What I can I say??? Mommy just shakes her head and smiles.

So, there you have it! I'm learning so many new things! I'm growing and I getting stronger each day. I went to my heart doctor on Monday and she told me that she couldn't see OR hear the 3 holes in my heart, so she thinks they have closed! Praise Jesus! I also went to my GI doctor on Monday and found out the my billiruben has gone down a LOT. That's why I don't look so yellow anymore. Again, praise Jesus! I have lots of other appointments in the coming weeks, and I'll keep you posted on my progress. Thanks for praying!
