Innocent?
Today I got a call from the doctor to tell me that our son had kicked out his pic-line!! Of course, Daddy is thrilled he's exercising those future soccer legs, but we aren't happy he has to have a pic-line put in again tomorrow.
Now, the question is: Does Jayden know something we don't? Throughout the weeks he's been in the hospital he's had a habit of pulling out his tubes and being quite annoyed by all the cables. Once after Jayden had pulled something out, Gerson said to me, "He's a boy of faith! He knows God has healed him!" Tonight when I talked to my dad, he said something similar. He said, 'The boy's had a revelation from God! He knows it's time to come home!" I say a resounding, "AMEN."

He's getting bigger and I know it's more of a challenge to keep him engaged in the hospital. Before, he just pretty much slept. Now he has spurts of being wide awake and desires to be entertained. There are many times when no one is there to spend time with him. That's hard on me as a mom and it has to be hard on him as well. We are ready for him to come home!
We are thrilled with his progress, but it's just slow going to get him feeding on a bottle as well as weaning him off his oxygen. He did have one night this week that he was able to be on room air. So, things are going better, but we're all just getting tired of waiting. We appreciate all your prayers.
