On October 22, 2010, Gerson and I decided it was time for Jayden to get his first haircut. We had waited almost 2 years to cut his hair because we LOVE his curls! However, his curls were beginning to annoy him, always getting in his eyes. Gerson decided to cut his hair even though he had no experience!
We stripped him down to his diaper and placed a towel over his high chair to catch all the loose hair. Jayden was up for the adventure . . . at first!
However, when he saw Daddy bring the scissors closer, he could look no longer! He knew it was no normal day.
But when Gerson held up a clump of hair triumphantly, Jayden could only look at it in horror!
As you can see, it was quite long. Gerson just trimmed the front and sides and left the back long and curly.
Jayden was NOT happy with his new 'do.
To be honest, we also miss his culrs. However, we confort ourselves by knowing they will grow again! Plus, we still have his beautiful locks in the back.
