Dear Friends,
It's hard to believe it is almost April. Once again, I have been silent for far too long. Many of you have probably quit looking at my blog because it so seldom changes! For many months I was pretty good at keeping it updated, but lately it's been harder and harder to find a block of time to keep all of you updated. I do apologize and will continue to TRY to do better!
We just arrived back in Indiana after a month-long trip South. We had fabulous meetings in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. We were blessed to stay in the homes of many amazing people! It was also a blessing to be able to speak in churches and homes about the ministry into which God has called us.
While we were gone we had to take Jayden to the ER. He had a boil on his bottom, and it continued to get worse and worse. The Lord was good (as always!) and we were able to see a doctor who had worked in a children's hospital prior to working in the ER. He was fabulous with Jayden, although he did have to lacerate his boil, which was NOT FUN. After receiving the results of the culture, we learned the Jayden had MRSA. He was on antibiotics and has healed up nicely. We are thankful for the Lord's wisdom and help . . . especially when we are on the road and don't know how to go about routine things like doctor visits!
We were incredibly happy to get home on Monday night. I was able to sleep 11 hours, since Gerson was a thoughtful husband and got up with Jayden at 6:00 AM! We are still weary, but are recovering from our journeying.
For those of you who knew we were traveling, thanks for your prayers. We sensed the Lord's presence with us all the way. We had fabulous meetings and met some incredible people. Continue to pray for us as we strive to get to Texas. We are still only about 50% funded, but we are trusting our needs to the Lord. Our hope is still to move to Texas in July. We believe in a God who moves mountains!
In the next few days I will strive to get some photos loaded onto the blog so you can see how much Jayden is growing!

Doing great, Betsy! Thanks for blogging. It is so fun to see Jayden growing and keep up with all of your activities! I was sorry that we missed you in January when you were at our church. Hope that we'll have a chance to get together before you guys move south!!
